Milk

If you insist on drinking cow’s milk, prepare for the new look of the gallon jug. While some report it does not pour as well, it takes a step toward a better use of resources. It might even be cheaper too! For some months now I’ve been limiting my intake of cow’s milk for my coffee (I’m experimenting with liquid non-dairy creamers now) and for some soup/cream recipes. For other uses in my food, I opt for soy milk. Are you at all curious about how soy milk compares nutritionally to cow’s milk?

How many languages do you speak?

"Just as Carla [Bruni-Sarkozy] charmed the Queen of England and Princes Charles and Philip with her demure French schoolgirl look, she charmed George and Laura Bush on their visit, inviting Laura 30 minutes early for a girls’ tête-à-tête, and then sitting next to the American president and keeping him entertained with a spirited conversation in English, one of her three languages and sort of his one language."

Candidate Obama

It is great to be alive and witness today’s event in US politics. I hope November provides another victory to celebrate and record in history books.

Name

It was in the middle of the night, I suspect it was aroud 3 or 4 in the morning, when I clearly heard a man’s voice, one I do not recognize, call out my name. It definitely was not part of the dream I was having. It was as if someone had been in the room or another part of the house and called out my name. It felt loud, clear and surprising enough for it to wake me up. I opened my eyes and looked around. I saw no one. Hours later, I am still intrigued by the experience.
